Educational Qualification: B. Com. (Hon’s), M. Com in Accounting and MBA (Finance & Banking)
He has significant working experience as accounting professional and financial management sector expert in various national and international organizations. He has over 17 years’ professional experience in humanitarian and development sectors of managing finance with complexity, multi-million dollar projects for Government and International NGOs in the areas of livelihoods, education, WASH, health & nutrition, micro finance, child protection, humanitarian refugee (Rohingya) operation, disaster risk management, climate change adaptation and resilience. He has proven track record of budgeting, financial analysis, budget monitoring, report preparation, compliance and risk management of Government of Bangladesh, International donors and UN Organizations including World Bank, EC/ECHO, USAID, WFP, WHO, UNICEF, UNDP, IDB and UMCOR.
He has extensive academic knowledge and skills on financial management and post-graduation degree on Accounting and Finance & Banking. He received local & overseas professional training on financial management, accountability, humanitarian standard, due diligence, code of conduct and dealing with fraud and corruptions in very complex and remotely managed projects.
He also has proven track record of leading the diverse team members, budget and report preparation of multi-donor projects and has vast knowledge on VAT and Income Tax too. Programmatically, he has managed big budgets including Local Governance Support Project, MF, health, education and disaster management programmes and led the internal and externalaudit process as well as organizational risk management independently.
Furthermore, he has learnt to incorporate Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning approach and value of money approach into budget preparation, implementation stages and to evaluate and manage the projects remotely.
