Mr. Md. Mahbub Alam joined LGSP-3 on 28 November 2018 as Administrative Associate. He is an Assistant Director (AD) of the Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE) under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME) and working here on lien.
At the field level, he served as a District Co-Ordinator, Directorate of Non-Formal Education (DNFE) under the Primary and Mass Education Division (PMED) and worked at Faridpur, Gopalgonj and Kushtia districts. He also served as an Assistant Director, District Bureau of Non-Formal Education (DBNFE) under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME) at Kushtia. He worked as an Assistant Director of Post Literacy and Continuing Education Project-2 (PLCEHD-2) under the Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE) on deputation. Again he joined as an Assistant Director, District Bureau of Non-Formal Education (DBNFE) under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME), Rajbari. Before joining here he served at Basic Literacy Project (BLP) as an Assistant Director on deputation, Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE) under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME).
Mr. Md. Mahbub Alam holds a master’s degree in History from the University of Rajshahi. In 2009 he earned another degree in Master of Business Administration with major in Human Resources Management (HRM). He was born in the village of Narayankandi in Harinakundu upazila of Jhenaidah district and brought up in a traditional Muslim family. In private life he is married and father of a son, who is currently perusing at the University of Dhaka. His wife is currently serving at Motijheel Model School & College as a teacher.
